For 1990 Honda upgraded the NC30's suspension. A cartridge fork with separate compression and rebound valving and 12-step rebound adjustment went in at the front, and a shock with a remote reservoir and screw preload adjuster went in at the rear. New colours were added, including a white, red and blue tricolour. Weight rose by a few kilograms, and the engine and frame were unchanged.
